From Vilnius, Lithuania, Kontrapunkt International presents its new release. This is a Various Artists compilation featuring producers from all over the world, for listeners from all over the world. It is a double cassette with artists from six continents, from old collaborators to newly discovered voices. Sides A and B feature some of their most danceable material to date. Side C expands the range of genres we present, and Side D is designed for the quieter moments of the night or day.
This album is meant to be enjoyed in its entirety or for us to choose our favorites and listen to them out loud with our friends or ourselves.
From Tegucigalpa, Honduras, comes the style of Loht Vostok, which can be defined as a Minimal Deep and Techno-House sound with groovy bases. His style is energetic and groovy. He is a DJ, producer, and promoter of the Alien community, a very peculiar electronic movement of creators of handmade and handcrafted decorated stages that come together with a great musical menu that creates an atmosphere of good vibes.
For this great compilation, Loht Vostok presents Diamond Engine. I propose that we imagine an engine made of diamonds. It will be shiny, transparent, resistant, and antique. Now I propose to listen to this track by the artist. If we put this diamond engine in the sun, we will see it shining and bouncing colors. That is the visual form of a sound that is at the same time electric and sophisticated. Agile, but resistant and very powerful. Subtle and delicate but energetic. And with a nostalgic and mysterious touch that reminds us of everything a diamond has to live to be what it is.
