Club Furies

Pride Or Die is a new compilation from Hungarian independent label Dalmata Daniel, conceived as an action of support and solidarity for Budapest Pride.

In March 2025, a key piece of legislation was amended in the country where the label is based, involving significant changes to the conditions for holding public gatherings. Although presented as a general measure, various sectors have interpreted that it could have particular implications for certain social and cultural expressions, in particular the LGBTQ+ movement. The regulation contemplates new economic sanctions and the expanded use of surveillance tools, in a context that has already seen other controversial measures in recent years related to the recognition of identities and content aimed at specific audiences.

At the same time, there has been a trend towards increasing restrictions on different forms of civil organization, raising concerns about certain rights and freedoms.

In response to this environment, Dalmata Daniel has brought together 34 artists from around the world to contribute previously unpublished compositions. The result is a vibrant and committed sound ensemble that seeks to express support, sensitivity, and collective strength.

We present our second Premiere for this compilation in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ movement, full of playful leads and beeps, and with a touch of funk that reminds us of other times, once well entrenched in the history of electronica. At the same time, like that primordial present of electronica, they point to a utopian future, of which the sound of this track also projects.
