The Berlin label Fever Recordings returns with its new release, this time from the Portuguese Rawdecks, who presents Permanent Damage, a collection of four tracks, of which we present the Premiere of the homonymous track.
The permanence of something can be seen, from a moral point of view, as good or bad. When that adjective is followed by the ‘damage’ noun, it is most likely to be a bad thing. However, in the semantics of this release, the permanent damage could be to the dance floor or the psyche of the raver. From blunt, finely hammering, and continuous beginnings, the sound of Permanent Damage makes itself felt ipso facto.
Electrified metallic crunches, with mediated incandescence, open deltas and grooves through which the sound runs placidly and fiercely. From between those deltas, the sonorous valley is placed as a waning through which the design thinks the way to follow. The rest is to be imbued by the sound of Rawdecks, who presents a magnificent one by Fever Recordings.
