Russian producer Speed Mode returns to our beloved Diffuse Reality Records to present Miraculum, a collection of four original tracks, which is also complemented by three remixes. A sound that escapes the little we have heard him, but that again we liked. This time lighter, faster, more minimal.
Such is the case of Otium, an abstract Latin term that, in general, refers to free time or leisure, but with a deeper meaning than simply the lack of work. It implies time devoted to intellectual, reflective, and rewarding activities.
In sound, it is expressed through qualities such as speed, freshness, brilliance, and playfulness. With patient sound design, the sound manages to unfold in a calm, progressive, and radiant manner. In the end, the landscape, conceptual, visual, and sonic, takes us to retro but also contemporary environments, with dualities that leave us amazed and satisfied.
