It is always invigorating to hear a new label make a place for itself in the sea and complexity of the underground electronic scene. There is always the possibility of new variants or the necessary recursions that any style or combination of styles requires to stabilize. And it’s even cooler to note that the aesthetics are as suggestive as they are striking – that neglecting them in pursuit of mere sound doesn’t quite convince us; that’s why, when it also comes curated, it’s phenomenal.

We’re talking about Rauschtrax, a label hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina, which presents a compilation of various artists as its calling card. Entitled CHIEFBOARD 001, it’s a collection of ten artists from the best of the circuit, emerging, incipient, and nascent. We present the premiere of the collaboration of Conrado Stein, a Bonarein artist, vinyl DJ, and Techno producer, who presents Locked On.

The sound layers incite incipient bubbles that gradually reach us with velvet and subtle rhythms. Between parallel rails, the juice is hidden. Those rails, in turn, play at two different speeds, which nevertheless remain face-to-face. This causes hallucinatory effects, which decouple the known dimensions of reality.
