The new release from Chilean label Halcxn, headed by one of our favourite producers Fantasna, is out. Chilean artist Daniel Klauser presents Take Your Time. The label presents the release perfectly, so we have nothing left to add but to bow to the ways of the label and the artist, which is why they are artists.
«Take Your Time,» as its title suggests, alludes to the notion of waiting and allowing time before releasing any artistic work, free from the pressure of social media or the constant demands of the industry. Take Your Time represents four years of storing material, four years of exploring and embracing the idea that multiple genres, aesthetics, recording methods, and creative processes can coexist simultaneously.
Continuing with lo-fi and home recordings as its central axis, this album features contributions from prominent musicians in the Chilean scene, including jazz trumpeter Juan Pablo Salvo, DJ and producer Sebastian Mella aka Fantasna, musician and producer Narval, Japanese DJ Marie Wanibe, drummer Andres Yañez Fischer, producer Plinio Verna (Lovshai / bvha), and vocalists Sasha Desree (LA, USA).»
