The collision of sonic forces of this magnitude can only bring overwhelming results. We’re talking about Finns Reginald, Empath, and MEGAFORCE, who present Funky Emotion in an Extended Remix by Platypus, the label headed by the former. It’s all about the psychedelic and acidic breaks of Finnish crunch master Empath of EABE Records and Platypus Trax label captain Reginald.
Funky Emotion is made up of an original track, in which acid breaks overlap, while Finnish electro-pioneer Mesak takes it into the IDM-universe badass. While Megaforce jacks in the industrial warehouses of Berlin, Germany, from where he produces hellish Techno and Rave music. That’s where our coverage of this great release begins.
Industrial sounds, mixed with Rave atmospheres in the middle of abandoned warehouses, and late at night. Sound that doesn’t diminish in intensity, and only grows. Bee swarms constantly buzzing in our perceptions, and floors that shake harder and harder. And an overwhelming sound that hammers with power and attitude.
