Club Furies

Sebastian Keks has been active on the decks since 1998, with a deep-rooted presence in the electronic music scene since the mid-1990s. Born in Luckenwalde in the early eighties and currently based in the outskirts of Berlin, Germany. His musical journey has taken him beyond Germany’s borders, with performances in England, Poland, and Slovakia. 

In 2000, he founded the collective «Umweltpumpe1» with his twin brother. In 2005, he followed the event series «Gepflegtes Klopfen», which led to a podcast channel in 2024. As resident DJ at «Triebwerk Dresden» (2004-2013), he played a decisive role in shaping the club culture for a decade. Today, Sebastian Keks is an active member of the collective «SUT – secret underground techno». From June 2025, Sebastian Keks will present his radio show «Kekscore Moments» every month on the first Saturday from 18:00 to 20:00 (German time) on Evosonic Radio.

Musically, Sebastian Keks stands for versatility and a keen sense for the perfect moment. Whether old-school classics from the 90s or current releases, he knows how to convey emotions, generate tension, and create sets that get under your skin. His DJ sets are characterised by dynamism, depth, and moments of surprise.

Now, it’s time for Sebastian Keks to be on our Mix Series. Our mix series is called Cintas Furiosas – Furious Tapes, in English. They are inspired by the band from the cult film The Warriors (1979), called the Baseball Furies, and the scintillating Imperator Furiosa, the iconic character from the fourth installment of the Mad Max saga, Fury Road (2015), and now also from Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024). Conceived as tapes that express a “furious sound”, both as a metaphor and as a sonic process, they acquire a special and unique fury with each artist they feature.
