One of the labels with the best identity in recent years is Veneno. One of the few Mexican labels — based in the metropolitan area of Mexico City — that it has best understood the movement of the local scene, but also the world scene. And this is because it does not support underground purisms or mainstream trends. Its curators and managers have always held firm but mobile positions that allow them to navigate with versatility without losing any identity, and to maintain their own, constantly evolving stamp.
For one of their recent releases, they present one of the artists who has known how to promote their art. We are talking about Deenia, who is joined by OMAAR, a talent of avant-garde sound. Together they present Suabebe, a Trance track that undergoes a unique treatment in the designs of these two artists. Ranma Entero, Panko, and Cabe accompany this track in the remixes.
We present the remix by Panko, one of the heads of our beloved Uruguayan label U’re Guay Records. Ipso facto dance sounds, full of multiple rhythmic layers that orthogonalize to perfection, giving off very thick and entrenched flashes. Layers of sound that densify amidst rails that speed them up, forming a very interesting duality: firm sound that runs nimbly. Freshness that we feel in our bodies, rhythms that turn into sweat.
