CF Premiere: Ecilo – Dark Faith [Illegal Alien Records]

Entering electronic music in 2008, Reza Putra Ananda was reborn as Ecilo through his love for industrial Techno beats. His industry experience comes from years of refining his sound and perfecting his technique, with influences ranging from expressive African-American music (Jazz, Soul, Blues) and the atmospheric resonances of sci-fi soundtracks. Always experimenting with different sounds, Ecilo has become a fluid producer in terms of genres, but is strongly rooted in his foundations of authentic Techno.

Now, Ecilo returns once again to Illegal Alien Records. This is his first EP on the label, his new work titled Dark Faith, a five-track collection from the Indonesian producer. Powerful and dark start that is tinged with stars and hallucinating intergalactic hypnotisms.

The eponymous track is a dark canvas of subtle and sophisticated techno that takes us with him to his chambers. Quickly reaching the climax, it releases whiplashes of delirium, well mediated and controlled by the sound design. Through it, sound structures are created whose visual correlates resemble golden rings that are constantly polished and progressively braided.
