Espectro A presents its next Various Artists release, which this time features five artists. It is titled Test ADOS-2 Vol. 2, the second compilation from the Iquique, Chile-based label, featuring original works by C:NXR, Fonzo, Noisync, Ekeino, and Tequesuca. The release explores a soundscape ranging from ambient to deep techno, guided by an organic, atmospheric, and tribal aesthetic. It is a journey that seeks to reconnect with the ancestral through deep textures and enveloping rhythms. Recall that Especto A, through its releases, seeks an objective that transcends the artistic, as it reflects the commitment they have as a record label: to raise funds for low-income families to access the ADOS-2 test, a key tool in the diagnosis of autism spectrum conditions in children. This is based on the belief that music can be a channel for real transformation: emotional, cultural, and social.

In terms of sound, this release expresses depth, subtlety, sophistication, and fine electrical threads that add up to a unique sonic power. The Tequesuca project is a sonic odyssey that seeks to rediscover the cultural and ancestral roots of humanity, exploring ancestral knowledge and lost memories through music. For the project of Santiago Vargas (Medellín, Colombia), music is the means through which we approach our essence and reconnect with our past, thus honoring the cultural richness of our ancestors. The combination of sounds, rhythms, and melodies will transport listeners to a sonorous universe that will make their being vibrate and allow them to reconnect with their ancestral roots. This project is an invitation to a journey inward, where to experiences the connection with the Self and the cellular memory, allowing a deeper and enriching experience.

Tequendama is an archaeological site located southeast of Soacha, Cundinamarca, Colombia, a couple of kilometers east of Cataratas del Tequendama. Its etymology means «the one that rushes down». Tequesuca presents El Portal del Tequendama, which could be the waterfalls found in that site, and that could represent the portal. Where to? That is the magic of electronic sound art, and of all art in general: to open reality to fiction through the same elements that describe the whole release. Only in the case of this track, it is more vibrant, at the same time more ethereal, and more exciting, as if the site to which it alludes were reconverted into sound.
