With a great concept behind it, full of a lot of spirituality, sendero is part of a larger project of Antonio Muñóz, who, through emesh and sendero creates Ambient, Electronic, Downtempo, Trance, Tribal, Psy, Dub, and Organic music, and that is completed with Armonía del Sonido. For his most recent release on Sendero Records, he presents zayith, a collection of ten original tracks of very deep and very well settled Deep techno, which also skis through all the variants of the sounds that shape it. 

This time, the concept is the olive tree. In this regard, we have always had a very clear position when it is the artist’s art, in this case, that not only makes itself heard through sound, but also through language. In those cases, our word remains latent, and we let the artist’s word take the front, only that we will do it for the premiere of oreq in a fragmentary way, as we will soon present you the complete review:

“The Hebrew term for olive, «Zayith,» composed of the letters Zayin, Yod, and Tav, encapsulates its sacred nature [of the olive tree]. The oil extracted from this fruit was used in holy anointing rituals, connecting the earthly to the divine. The ritualistic use of olive oil signifies not just physical nourishment but spiritual rejuvenation, serving as a bridge between the mortal realm and celestial grace”.

oreq carries with him a very powerful, strong, and solid sound, at the same time mysterious and unassailable. Loaded with ancient history and ethereal industrial materials, it progressively and very subtly sheds all that heaviness, molding light and agile drops of water, which brush the edges of beautiful mountains, slightly tinged with snow, and whose trees whisper ineffable expressions to the ear.
