drft.rcrds is an Argentine label, founded by MAGEM in 2023. This label focuses on fast and groovy beats, always trying to bring undiscovered artists to the table. This time, they present their new Various Artists release, a powerful collection of 16 original tracks from 16 different artists.
TiGr is a Stuttgart-based techno producer who entered the scene at the age of 15. He started creating music during the first COVID closure, developing a sound rooted in hypnotic and experimental techno. Since 2023, he has released on various labels and independently. In 2024, he launched his own label, Fuxbau Records, and joined the NKR label team.
For this compilation, he presents Dog Versus Demon, a mysterious, cryptic sound, which nonetheless emerges in soft, almost velvety territories, amidst shimmering hypnotisms. With a sound design that models delicate structures, the sound, despite its darkness, moves nimbly through the spectrum. It never lets its true intentions be seen and only shows them through very well entrenched sonic symptoms.
