Club Furies

To commemorate its five years of sonic exploration, our beloved desert label, Arido Records, presents the second installment of its trilogy of compilations called Exoplanet, a curated journey from the most introspective and atmospheric frontiers of contemporary techno.

This time, five artists, A373, Asmodeo, Atoms, Frank Sinanthrax, and ORed CGine, trace different sonic orbits around an aesthetic deeply linked to underground techno, with sonic narratives that evoke cinematic landscapes and futuristic pulsations linked to cinema and space. Each track functions as a sonic capsule floating in a system of mental explorations and extraterrestrial desert landscapes.

Yendegaia National Park is a national park in Chile, which protects a representative sample of the ecosystems of the southernmost sector of Chilean Patagonia, at the southernmost tip of South America. The sound of this track, by the Chilean artist currently based in Spain, takes us to the semantics proposed by the desert label. This time, surrounded by subtle flashes of fast and agile techno, amidst stars and planets in constant evolution. 

In sum, this volume of Exoplanet shows us the techno sound conceived as a narrative territory, as a space of expansion, as the celebration of an expression that continues to expand the limits of sound.
