Club Furies

Nikita von Tiraspol is a DJ, producer, and director of Kontrapunkt Records. Originally from Germany and based in Vilnius, he has been livening up dancefloors with his dynamic, club-centric sessions for over a decade. Nikita von Tiraspol constantly pushes the boundaries of sound, delivering fresh tracks and unforgettable club experiences.

Now, for one of her most recent releases, she is featured on the superb label originally from Nicaragua, currently based in Miami, impresión. Tidal Memory consists of three original tracks and is complemented by two remixes. It is presented as follows:

The release is enriched by a remix from Washington D.C. producer Dommie, who takes a completely different approach. His rework sounds as if Livity Sound grew up on the coast of Ibiza rather than in the UK. Finally, Cologne’s Panta Rex closes the EP with a hypnotic dub house track, an endless loop that feels like Basic Channel, but on the beach instead of in a Berlin basement.»

Lake Victoria takes us back to that moment when we are still on vacation, but that time is running out. When we are still in the middle of the sand, the sea and the water, crossing fresh breezes, but they are the last ones. Nostalgia is already in the air, but it is still latent. An excellent way to start.
