Club Furies

SAP is the promising electronic music duo based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, formed by Santiago D’Agostino and Martin Prodan. Their sonic identity centers on the uncompromising use of analog instruments: modular systems, samplers, and synths that lend an organic texture and a palpable warmth to their techno.

For their anticipated debut long-player, they present «Trovador» (Troubadour) via our beloved label Subsist Records. This monumental work is composed of ten original tracks that seamlessly blend the structural force of club techno with meticulous sound design and elaborated harmony. The record is conceived to transcend the boundaries of the dancefloor, offering a listening experience that is as detailed and immersive as it is powerful.

To achieve this distinctive sound, D’Agostino and Prodan explore their musical roots, imprinting them throughout the work via a fascinating play of contrasts: the fusion of the digital with the warmth of the organic. The album proposes a rich, fluctuating sonic narrative—an alternation of moments and passages of distinct sonorities directly inspired by the urban pulse of their city. It captures both the chaotic energy of Buenos Aires and its hidden melancholy. The album invites textures to become protagonists and exhibits its greatest complexity in the interaction between machine and emotion.

And with the same uncertainty with which it arrived, «Helguera» slowly escapes into the void of silence, leaving us in a state of hopeless hope that encapsulates the emotional complexity of SAP’s debut long-player.
