Once again, we return to the sonic core of the Russian masters Damne and Martyn Playfrd to cover their double release. This is «Seedling» the second part of the WL17 reference, a collection of sounds that honors the unmistakable quality of the Russian label Wetland. The EP is composed of four original tracks and a remix by the talented RZNBAM. The work is distinguished by its melancholic organic textures, ambient melody, hard-hitting industrial rhythms, and modular synth dialogues, all saturated with arrangement elements and meticulous attention to every layer of the sound space.

«Missing Clouds» opens with electrified sounds, built upon well-defined wires and metals, covered in fine and sophisticated alloys. With the sheer force of these elements—electricity and metal—the clouds, heavy with rain, have no choice but to dissipate. It is a declaration of sonic power that clears the emotional sky.

The track progressively settles into a rhythm, inducing dances that turn into rituals and rhythmic swayings that achieve an impressive abandon. Just as the rhythm and energy position themselves high in the sky, dominating the atmosphere, everything decreases in the same manner: the intensity slowly retreats, arriving at a contemplative silence. «Missing Clouds» is a piece that captures the beauty and threat of industrial forces set against the natural landscape.
