Spanish DJ and producer David Reina, based in Córdoba and owner of the Legend 1997 Records label, makes a powerful debut on Abstract Mechanisms. This sister imprint of the legendary Illegal Alien Records adheres to an abstract sonic mechanism that distills sophistication and profound cerebralism.

Reina presents «You Got The Key,» a collection of four original tracks that explore an immersive and deep sound while remaining remarkably crisp and exceptionally clear. The central track is «Quantum Waves.» The term Quantum («quantity» in Latin) refers, in physics, to the minimum amount of energy or matter involved in an interaction. The sound of «Quantum Waves» captures this idea: it is continuous, full of sharp, shimmering sonic rails within which the perception of time and space begins to subtly shift.

These «Quantum Waves» of sonic energy create their own dimensions of reality, as well as their own rhythmic indicators. The sound structure is clean, exquisitely designed, and delivered with precise execution, demonstrating Reina’s mastery in modulating hypnotic techno.
