Kyma Komplex, the Mexico City-based label where art, culture, and entertainment are conceived as acts of liberation, presents its latest and most enigmatic signing: Gisèle Kérozen. This artist hails from a parallel apocalyptic era, wandering aimlessly from station to station. Through her mazoutoso (oily/raw) art, she narrates the complexities of her chaotic and scarce universe. Always in search of electric sounds or lead-free sandwiches, «Gigi» ignites lost dance floors here and there, with her «paw atrophied by the acidic remnants of her tracks.»
Gisèle Kérozen debuts on the Mexican label with «Electric Equinox,» an EP that captures the essential tension between emotion and control, energy and stillness.
