ANTISTAGE is a Brazilian record label specializing in techno and electronic music experimentation, led by Andre Luki, and nearing its second year of existence. Its first release was a Various Artists compilation titled The Era Crua. Now, to close the year with a statement of intent, they present the second volume of that compilation, confirming the spectacular progress of the Brazilian imprint in such a short time.

Five artists, five tracks, five sounds in one, reflecting the dramatic advance the Brazilian label has made. We are premiering the track from the label boss, Andre Luki, titled «Final Destination.» Knowing that the title announces an unavoidable destiny, the sound directs us precisely toward that final stage. It does so subtly in atmosphere, yet also impregnably and forcefully in rhythm.

The track begins with a texture that seems complete and continuous, but suddenly, electric and metallic flashes appear amidst interferences that imbue it with a fascinating textural complexity. Rhythms reach their peaks of intensity, surrounded by valleys of silence that cry out for an alternative reality. In this way, the industrial crunch and rhythmic demands are perfectly eternalized in the sound. «Final Destination» is a piece that consolidates Andre Luki’s vision as an architect of raw and fatalistic techno.
