Our beloved Subsist Records presents its final release of 2025, a record that not only closes the year but further confirms the strength and consistency of a label that has long proven its identity. In an electronic music landscape driven by fast, repetitive, and ever-expanding waves of hype, it feels important to pause and recognize the value of projects that continue to place sound at the center. Even with its internal tensions and a certain purist stance, keeping electronic music alive and closely tied to the underground remains a relevant — and necessary — position.

At the core of this release lies a clear artistic transformation. As the owner of the INCENSE label, the artist leaves behind his former alias after years of performing and producing to step into a more personal identity. This new approach leans toward a modular, hypnotic, and dancefloor-focused language, without abandoning conceptual depth. Inconformity, independence, originality, and strength remain key elements of both his artistic figure and the label he runs, now expressed with greater clarity and intention.

Subsist Records stands out as one of those labels whose curation treats electronic music as a complete art form, not merely a functional tool. To close the year, it presents RVDMNTL with Morfología del Caos, a collection of eight original tracks featuring highly suggestive titles. RVDMNTL builds a sonic universe that balances dancefloor functionality with a contemplative and immersive listening experience. While some tracks operate as direct club tools, others invite the listener to dive into their textures with patience and focus.

The record evokes the spaces the creator inhabits and moves through: natural and industrial landscapes, memories of club nights, echoes of concrete and steel. Morfología del Caos becomes another journey in his ongoing search for new sonic horizons, influenced by ambient music, the symbiosis between nature and industrial environments, sound systems reverberating between concrete walls, and the ordered chaos that ultimately defines contemporary society. Everything seems to hover between noise, light, and movement.

Within this framework, “Campanas para el acero” stands out for its rough, rugged texture, firmly positioned at the front of the sonic structure. The track moves forward with an expectant, almost restrained momentum, yet never truly pauses. Trembling mountain ranges collide with storm-filled valleys, while the layers gradually clean themselves, swirling into grooves that sharpen and gain brightness as they rise. Suddenly, an atmosphere shaped by past and future apocalypses settles deep within today’s dancefloors, which call for a sound that is authentic — powerful, yet equally subtle and sophisticated. Here, that call finds its answer.
