Yesterday, we shared our first Premiere from the new Various Artists release by the UK-based label Duplicity. Today, we return just as quickly to present the second one, keeping the momentum alive and the focus firmly on a curation that moves forward with clarity and intent.
This time, the spotlight is on Tsott, a techno project from Tbilisi, Georgia, created by Tsotne Mamatsashvili under the principles of hypnotic techno. His musical identity has been shaped by distinct influences, ranging from deep Italian techno to the more hypnotic strands of the Spanish scene. The result is a sound that feels introspective, grounded, and unmistakably his own.
The Invincible refers to that which cannot be defeated: the indomitable, the invulnerable, the unconquerable. Sonically, this idea takes form through unstoppable layers, carefully constructed so the track remains subtle and delicate, yet overwhelming in its persistence and steady progression. Its power lies not in sudden impact, but in its relentless continuity.
At the same time, the track preserves the Georgian artist’s signature pulses, deeply rooted in deep techno, while pushing them toward a unique and compelling evolution. The sound seems to exist outside of time—timeless in its structure, yet unmistakably current in its presence—proving that endurance itself can be a statement.
