From Asunción, Paraguay, Victoria Mussi and Davass present a new release on one of our favorite labels, Concepto Hipnótico. Titled Push EP, this collaboration brings together three original tracks that engage in a dialogue between complementary perspectives on contemporary club music.
Victoria Mussi contributes a refined balance between house and techno, shaped by her experience as an artist, curator, and platform builder. Her sound is defined by intensity, movement, and carefully controlled energy. Davass, founder of Patterns Recordings and the Grupo Ginebra party series, approaches music from a groove-centered perspective, informed by functional club contexts and a strong focus on structure, tension, and dancefloor effectiveness.
The EP explores intensity and mystery through a forward-looking lens, prioritizing groove, density, and rhythmic drive. While each track holds its own character, the release maintains a cohesive identity designed for immersive and precise use on the dancefloor. At just four minutes long, Lineal develops its sonic language through contiguous and parallel lines that form a halo of constant, electrifying tension. Charged with anticipation, its progression behaves like an ascending linear equation: a track that remains steady and continuous while relentlessly growing, always pushing forward.
