Vexed Grooves is an independent platform deeply rooted in the global underground, dedicated to supporting artists through carefully curated releases, VA compilations, EPs, vinyl projects, podcasts, and media outreach. Based in Munich, Germany, the label focuses on intentional sound: deep rhythmic structures, percussive tension, and extended listening experiences that exist beyond trends and algorithms.

For one of its most recent releases, Vexed Grooves presents its first Various Artists compilation, marking the starting point of the label’s catalog and creating a shared space for artists from different parts of the world. The release carries a deep vibration inspired by the ENCODED ECHOES I series, bringing together multiple artists to celebrate this new collective chapter: 10 tracks, 1 broken fragment, and many thoughts woven into a single sonic statement. From Buenos Aires to Tunis, via Tokyo and Manchester, each contribution adds its own accent to a conversation shaped more by exchange than by genre.

Dissolution refers to the action and effect of separating the particles or molecules of a solid, liquid, or gas within a liquid medium until they become fully integrated. In Dissolve, by German artist A-STS, this process is translated into sound in a gradual, subtle, and refined manner. Amid shimmering tones, suspended textures, and strings that tighten the atmosphere, unease remains both latent and clearly present. A transversal character ultimately structures the entire track with remarkable precision.

As a final gesture, the VA includes an extra track, a broken fragment of the project’s narrative, intentionally left open as a signal pointing toward what comes next. VGVA 1.0 is not merely a debut release, but the foundation of a catalog that will continue to grow through collaboration, trust, and a shared vision.
