LIN/LOG was founded in 2010 with a clear focus: exploring sound design through analog modular systems. Their practice spans conceptual works, experimental sessions, improvised live performances, and field recordings created with live modular setups. With a body of work that is both diverse and uncompromising, LIN/LOG offers music for open-minded, unbiased listeners driven by curiosity and freedom.

For one of its most recent releases, the project presents Rituals Of Being A Man, a collection of eight original tracks built upon a deeply introspective concept:
“Man, an entity of body and mind. Flesh and bones moved by the electrical impulses of will and subconsciousness. Remembering the pain one had to endure, wounds that do not only open on the surface. Feeling lost, carrying the burden inherited from other men never known, never heard of. There are things that must be done. For oneself. For others. For inner stability. The worst thing is losing respect for oneself. Every victory will be criticized in the near future. Trying not to go insane”.

The sonic architecture of Rituals Of Being A Man is built upon non-linear rhythmic structures, where apparent simplicity conceals the internal complexity of each piece. Instability is ever-present—whether in tempo, pattern consistency, volume, or pitch. The album behaves like a fragile object, mirroring the human condition itself: existing in a world that both needs and rejects it. Still, it must move forward, proving its worth—above all, to itself—while the old world fractures around it.

Looking Menacing expresses through sound the idea of a threatening appearance that does not reveal what it truly is, but rather what it seeks to project. Intensity emerges only at precise moments, allowing creative expression to drift toward cybernetic territories and nanometric scales. The journey moves through circuits and cables that gradually expose internal decay, imploding into a state of controlled entropy that is as unsettling as it is captivating.
