The voices of those who create and curate their art should always be the voices that are respected. In this context, we would like to let them speak for themselves about the next premiere on Club Furies, one that we feel particularly proud and excited about for its conceptual and artistic potential. It comes from the label exude records, a platform run by trans* artists and built with their direct participation, encompassing a wide spectrum of contemporary electronic sounds. Founded in 2023 by Hanna (also known as mx.pinky) and Mel, two lovers of T4T, exude began as a series of community raves in Berlin showcasing talented trans*disciplinary artists while supporting mutual-aid fundraising campaigns. Here are their voices:

exude records returns with Eternal Volume 2, a continuation of its acclaimed November release, Eternal Volume 1. Featuring a diverse group of music producers from around the world, the V/A compilation is scheduled for release on March 27, 2026, just days before International Transgender Day of Visibility.

Eternal Vol. 2 continues the mission of mx.pinky and their enby faerie partner to showcase the voices of trans, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming creators, with all the joy and pain their experiences entail. Transition, gender, and the body once again become central themes across the 13 tracks, while the musical register ranges from club tools to quieter pieces and even spoken poetry.

Eternal Vol. 2 is both a celebration and an act of resilience, as well as a particularly exciting collection of tracks tracing diverse contemporary currents in electronic music. Proceeds from compilation sales are shared between the mutual aid organization Trans*sexworks Berlin, the artists, and the trans-run label.

Brazilian Sanni Est’s baile edit of M.I.A. sounds so elegant that it could easily be mistaken for an authentic collaboration with the iconoclastic MC. The chorus (“Freedom is a state of mind / What are you going to do with mine?”) feels uncannily timely, taking on deeper meaning in light of the current political climate, whether it brings to mind trans rights being dismantled in the West or the multiple genocides continuing across the world.

Sanni Est (she/her — Barcelona/Berlin) is the winner of the 2023 German Jazz Prize for Artist of the Year. Originally from Brazil, she moved to Berlin in 2007. Her work blends her background in classical music with various electronic genres and Afro-Brazilian percussion, which she practiced and danced to from a young age. Her second studio album, “Photophobia,” premiered as a fully immersive exhibition at Kampnagel in Hamburg in 2022, earning international awards and exhibitions. Her multidimensional works — ranging from hybrid DJ sets to art exhibitions — intertwine etymological research with autobiography and an eclectic musical exploration.
