From Krasnaya Gorka, Russia, ФОРТ or Fort Records presents TAY UT G NI, a collection of 15 original tracks by Nocow. In the words of its curators and creators:

«With the launch of his new label ФОРТ (FORT), Aleksei Nikitin, better known as Nocow, presents the label with a full 15-track album that delves deeper into his exploration of voice, memory, and landscape. Fractured syllables, elongated tones, and skeletal electronic structures unfold against a backdrop of seagull cries recorded in the Gulf of Finland, collapsing childhood memories into the present.»

«The music balances icy electronic rhythms with a melancholic pop longing, maintaining a line between physical propulsion and emotional weight, groovy enough for the body and lyrical enough for the heart. It is a patient and luminous release that navigates between ambient and crystalline pop and the confines of house and dancefloor experiments, built from vibrant melodies and textures as sharp as diamonds.»

«Nikitin had previously used vocals on releases for Gost Zvuk and Nina Kraviz’s трип, but here he lands with a new precision, his most complete vocal work to date. ФОРТ takes its name from Krasnaya Gorka, the coastal fortress where its musical identity was forged, and the album resonates with that landscape: forests, dunes, and ruins steeped in myth, refracted into sound. “TAY UT G NI,” the star above a wave, points to the inner attraction of the music, tracing personal and psychic landscapes through ambient drift and reduced pulse.»

Doldrums comes from and settles on ice floes, which cry out for harshness, but at the same time beauty. Progressively electrified, the sound takes off towards byte terrain, amid present times that point to the future and to deep meanings. Everything fades away in the noise of silence and in all the possibilities it opens up.
