For one of his most recent releases, Moah features on the Mexican label KPLR, a platform that continues to evolve and gain respect for its avant-garde curation. The EP is titled «Campo de Lirios» (Field of Lilies), a hypnotic collection of three original tracks. «AKHET» positions itself at the core of this release. The word evokes the Egyptian hieroglyph meaning «horizon» or «the place where the sun rises,» often depicted as the star emerging between two mountains.
In the sound of «AKHET,» however, the horizon drawn is that of the night. What emerges is not the sun, but the darkness, the moon, and the stars. The track is a fast yet perfectly controlled form of techno, maintaining the indicated speed without falling into formula.
