ANTISTAGE is a Brazilian record label specializing in techno and electronic music experimentation, led by Andre Luki, and nearing its second year of existence. Following the success of its debut, the Various Artists compilation titled The Era Crua, the label now presents the second volume to close out the year, demonstrating the spectacular progress of the Brazilian imprint.
Five artists, five tracks, five sounds in one. We recently premiered the track from the label boss, Andre Luki. This time, for our second premiere, we travel to Italy to introduce the producer Clinical25.
Clinical25 was born in Italy in 1999 and is one of the most interesting emerging figures in the Roman techno scene. He began his career as a DJ at age 15 and as a producer in 2024. Dark sounds and hypnotic textures mark the essence of his dynamic and versatile sets. Precision in sound design is his distinguishing feature, both in his sessions and productions, evoking dystopian science fiction landscapes and the unease surrounding an uncertain, hyper-technological future.
The Roman artist presents «Luce Velata,» which translates to «Veiled Light.» This is a highly suggestive and accurate title, as all the energy and power of his sound (the light) run through the mediation of the sound design via its structure and layers in a latent (veiled) form. This technique results in tension that is continuous, yet also shifting. It is an exercise in mental and atmospheric techno where power is hinted at and modulated, creating a sonic experience of mystery and expectation.
