Pure Nrgy has quickly established itself as one of our favorite Mexican labels. Founded in Querétaro (México) by Liarsenic, known for his dark and industrial style, Pure Nrgy is not just a record label, but also a promoter and a podcast series. Active since 2022, the platform began as a series of events that consolidated its local community in Querétaro, eventually gaining recognition in the international techno scene.
Now, Pure Nrgy is proud to present EP 008 of the Black Label series, the second part of their latest extended play, featuring four remixes ready to make you groove. MRLO, JareG, Mwamwa, and Gia Blackwood remix this original single by Liarsenic.
A month ago, we premiered one of the remixes from the first installment. While the original track is characterized by its constancy, mystery, and tension mediated by competent sound design, our premiere for this second batch of remixes is more fierce and unstoppable.
JareG, a techno DJ and producer focused on the old school, has quickly found his own style full of experimental sounds without neglecting creativity and genre versatility. His interpretation of this track runs relentlessly across tightly packed sonic rails, full of unyielding intensity and density. Just when the listener believes this sonic compact will conclude with high intensity, JareG triggers an agile and structurally fresh transition. From that moment on, the track reconverts, carrying us into the late hours of the night—from midnight until the moment the moon collides with the sun, causing the sound to implode in its unfolding.
