Our favorite avant-garde music label, free from stereotypes since 2017, returns to open the new year. This time, Infinito Audio Network welcomes Fobys with Ibrido, a release that marks the Italian artist’s debut on the label and a bold new chapter in his sonic trajectory. Following a series of club-focused releases and dance/dembow reinterpretations, Ibrido crystallizes a decisive evolution in his sound.
Born in Siracusa in 1994, Alessio Moricca, aka Fobys, is a DJ and producer based in his hometown and a resident of Aitho Entertainment. His music navigates the intersections between Latin-rooted rhythms, UK bass culture, and contemporary electronic sounds. Through a hybrid approach to both DJing and production, Fobys explores the global evolution of club music with intensity, precision, and a strong bodily awareness of rhythm.
True to its name, Ibrido is built on collision: techno meets baile funk, tribal percussion merges with Latin energy and bass, while 140 BPM rhythms drive everything forward at full speed. The result is a raw and forward-thinking exploration of contemporary global electronic music — a hybrid form designed for the dance floor, yet deeply rooted in instinct, experimentation, and the physicality of rhythm.
Ecstasy Dream needs little semantic explanation; its title is direct and unmistakable. What truly opens up is the depth contained within that ecstatic dream.
