GKHP was born in 2020 as the perfect reincarnation of two complementary forces: George K, a raw and techno-driven mind, and Hateparisi, a melodic and fearless electro soul. Behind this synthesis stands Giorgio Catalano, DJ and producer with a killer instinct and deep roots in hip hop, reggae, and breakbeat. His robotic offshoots now extend into Detroit techno and acid territories, always ready to pivot toward futuristic melodies—especially in a live performance context. Milan raised him and shaped his sound; Milan is also home to Fu.Me Records, his label, radically raw and relentlessly focused on uncovering the unknown sounds of the future.
GKHP now arrives on Italian label TC Records with Morning Routine, a collection of three original tracks completed by a remix from Mark Williams. The EP unfolds as an exercise in rhythmic precision and sustained tension, where energy is not released all at once but carefully administered through a nearly mechanical logic, designed to wear down the dancefloor from within.
The opening track, Normal, is anything but ordinary. Its only truly “normal” feature is the constant speed at which it unfolds—a continuous flow that reaches increasingly dense mental states, constructing structures that operate as sonic weapons in a club context. Direct techno, stripped of excess, built to generate severe physical and psychological impact.
