La Furia del Viento is the title of the new release from our beloved Signal Rec, continuing along a raw and demanding path defined by polyrhythmic sequences, sharp electronic sounds, white noise, and a constantly evolving structure. Drop-E and RNGD deliver a rhythmic, dense, dark, and razor-sharp release, infused with otherworldly ambient soundscapes and rich textures that evoke post-apocalyptic imagery.
The release features two original tracks, each receiving a remix treatment by Bartig Move (one half of Mist Gasp), who makes his debut on the label with two powerful techno cuts packed with strange tricks, unexpected rhythms, and fully danceable spells. Added to this is a remix by Angelo Stasi and ØTi, which conjures states of deep suggestion through the harmonious interaction between heavy-hitting drums and devastating sequences, like falling headfirst into a cosmic abyss.
La Furia del Viento acts as a constant sonic hammer, yet one that remains surprisingly subtle and, at times, almost velvety. Despite its rough and abrasive coordinates, it also reveals moments that are sweet and exciting. A sense of continuity and progression unfolds ad infinitum, forming a labyrinth of delirium and hypnotism from which there is no real desire to escape.
