Daktilar Recordings is a recently established electronic music label, directed and meticulously curated by ekøs, which has already built a clear and coherent identity through its first three releases. Based in Argentina, the label is now preparing to unveil its fourth reference, led by Leandro Daniel Ocamica, better known as Ocamicax. Born in Pontevedra, Buenos Aires, and raised in the town of Libertad, Ocamicax brings together a deeply hybrid sonic vision shaped by techno, groove, and tribal rhythms, alongside influences drawn from metal, nu metal, dub, downtempo, trip hop, reggae, and jazz. His background as a trombonist plays a subtle but essential role in his understanding of sound, breath, and resonance.
His release on the Argentine label is titled Solución Inesperada, a collection of four original tracks grounded in an intimate, ritualistic concept. As described by the artist, the EP unfolds through fleeting yet complicit encounters, a conscious surrender to altered states that move away from rebellion and toward the catharsis of the present moment. Rather than clinging to permanence, the music embraces transience—feeling, enjoying, and letting go—walking forward without fear, fully aware that everything has an end. This narrative translates into a sound that does not impose itself, but rather invites immersion, drawing the listener inward.
Miradas Cómplices, the opening track of the release, serves as a precise gateway into this sonic universe.
