The artist emerging from the underground of Pretoria, South Africa is a dark, visceral force within the techno scene, an artist who blurs the line between the DJ booth and the production studio. His sound is not limited to the physical: it plunges into the psychological —a relentless immersion into the depths of human emotion and sonic obsession. We had already confirmed this from his very first appearance here, and this return confirms it with even greater force.
The relationship between Club Furies and Diffuse Reality Records is, at this point, one of the most active and productive we maintain with any label in the world. The Spanish imprint is known for casting artists with a defined identity —producers who shape hypnotic groove, narrative tension, and mental depth without concessions. That philosophy is exactly what makes D3ÅNX such a natural fit there, and it’s the same one that has led us to be their amplifiers on more than one occasion. His first release on the label, Power Line Collapse, was a ten-track original collection that left us wanting more —and more is exactly what arrives now.
The South African artist returns quickly to Diffuse Reality Records to present his second release on the label: Within the Silos, another ten-track original collection that picks up where Power Line Collapse left things, but with a confidence and depth that only comes from having already crossed that threshold. This is not the work of someone finding their place —it’s the work of someone who already knows exactly where they stand and what they can do from there.
«Drift Beneath the Stars» is the kind of track that justifies a full listen to the release on its own. It presents clean sounds, full of mystery and anticipation, advancing progressively from the unknown toward the familiar —from that nameless territory toward its other side, toward its latent face. Its sweet, velvety rhythmic layers are handled with enviable precision, and the techno on display here is, simply put, brilliant: luminous within the darkness, transparent within the density.
