Two underground heavyweights clash in a spectacular collaboration. From vast, distant lands, the talent of Bulah arrives—both in curation and artistic performance—at one of the most rapidly rising, fresh, and scaling labels of the current scene: Message 431. The platform hosts the producer’s latest release, Return to Silence, a body of work consisting of four original tracks that challenge the linear boundaries of the dancefloor.

As our exclusive Premiere for this release, we present Mental Noise. In itself, the title’s implications are highly suggestive and timely. The mental noise that overwhelms us at times surpasses what we can tangibly manage, and the architecture of this cut seems to translate that precise psychological saturation into pure sonic matter.

The piece builds through metallic and electrical mental tribulations that shape intense, sprawling labyrinths which expand in size as the track progresses. Far from industrial flatness, the boundaries and walls of this structure constantly morph, forcing the listener to navigate an unpredictable topography. The pace at which we move is versatile, shifting, and chameleonic, pulling off modular breaks and modulations that, nonetheless, manage to sustain a flawless cohesion and unity through difference.

Towards the denouement, the composition rejects any complacent resolution or standard fading closure. The drive cuts off abruptly mid-analog friction, leaving the electric frequencies and the echo of mental noise suspended in mid-air like an unfinished interference in the dark.
