We are very happy to present on the platform for the first time Observatorio, an Argentine hypnotic techno label run by Martín Stagnaro, and the name itself tells us the intention twice over; both through the semantics of what an observatory means in the arts and through the position it implies, that of observing, in this case, sound.
And now, Observatorio returns with its second release, once again led by the boss, Martín Stagnaro. This four-track EP brings together two original tracks and two remixes, moving between hypnotic rhythms, deep textures, and a raw and overwhelming energy. «Mantra mix» and «Acceso Denegado» explore repetition and tension from different angles, while Pablo Gómez and Carnevale reinterpret the tracks with their own sound and approach. A direct and focused release, created for the dancefloor, but one that leaves space for atmosphere and detail.
Martín Stagnaro is an Argentine DJ and producer based in La Plata, Buenos Aires. Identified with the hypnotic style of techno, he has more than 10 years of musical training and a vast trajectory within the underground circuit. In the booth, his mixes stand out for being precise and organic, revealing a detailed and methodical profile strongly influenced by the sci-fi sound and an arsenal of timbral explorations, ranging from immersive pads to disruptive textures, in contrast with «bleep» sounds and melodic ostinatos.
Pablo Gómez is a techno DJ and producer from La Plata. His sound moves between Hypnotic Techno and Hardgroove. His proposal is characterized by hypnotic grooves, marked percussion, and stable BPM sets oriented toward the dancefloor.
Now, both collide with the remix that the second makes of the first, which is powerful from the start. Constant and persistent, it maintains a strength and power that are enviable. This quality fortifies the external structure of the track, while the internal one manages to maintain agility and freshness that express themselves in electric halos that are both fleeting and thick.
