Club Furies

The Esilum project was born at the beginning of 2019. In each of his EPs, he presents a different subgenre of techno, taking risks, firmly following his credo instead of the crowd, infused with Ambient, Experimental, and Techno sounds. Which revolve around hypnotic melodies and a clear and honest interpretation of techno.

For one of their recent releases, they present scratch number 52 from the KR Records platter, a collection of five original tracks. Ananke, Metis, Proteus, and Hyperion refer directly to a god from Greek mythology, while Sycorax refers to the first character to set foot on the island in William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest”.

Ananké, Anankaia, or Ananque was the goddess of inevitability, necessity, compulsion, and inescapability. She was the daughter of the primeval seas on which Eurynome perched and sister of time. She controlled the events of the world and her sentences were executed by the Moiras. With that same mastery in the control of what was happening, the sound of Esilum in this track is self-assured, full of rhythmic reliefs and strong sound structures. Able to withstand thick and dense sound layers, at the same time, the structure can give agility and speed to that gravity.

Extensive in time, with patient and persevering sound design, emerging from valleys of silence, perched in the infinity of time. Vibrant and incipient, biting and brilliant; metallic and at the same time ethereal. Pulsating, exciting, and agile. A diamond-shaped rock loaded with versatile ambivalence and sonic crystallizations full of strength and sophistication.

With this release, added to all those in his catalog, the Esilum project continues to push the boundaries of techno music and carve out a place as an exciting and influential artist on the scene. At the same time, it is a sample of KR Records‘ curatorship, which continues to put in its catalog techno of the best quality, next to subgenres and variations that give vitality to underground electronic music, that which does not allow itself to be fooled by the mainstream side of distinction.
