Club Furies

Hailing from Nottingham, UK, Damian Henderson, also known as D-Omen, is best known for being the UK’s first and original 90s children’s Techno DJ. That «Kids Techno» alias is due to the fact that he was involved in venues and parties all over the UK from the tender age of 10, along with his early influences.

After having him on our pages under his MindSync alias, and presenting a Premiere for the label he runs, DS Recordings, Club Furies is proud to have him back. This time, to present his next release, Mind Fractures, on the Minneapolis, Minnesota-based label Electric Music Foundation.

The Electric Music Foundation was formed in 1992 to release electronic Techno and Experimental music on twelve-inch vinyl for artist Modulator, autokinetic, and artists from around the world. Today, The Electric Music Foundation focuses on releases that use analogue and digital technology on limited edition vinyl and digital formats.

Mind Fractures is composed of six original tracks, each of which could present the stages of the mental fractures referred to in the title of the work. In the meantime, Club Furies presents the premiere of 22Elec.

The sound of our Premiere displays all the energy of Electro, together with that halo of nostalgia that not all Electro brings with it, but which, from our point of view, is unbeatable. That combination of electricity, high doses of energy and intensity, together with unstoppable rhythms, and the nostalgic, almost celestial atmospheres, boost the sound into idyllic wastelands.

At times, the sweetness and freshness of the melancholy sound become predominant, which accentuates the metaphysical quality of the track. Progressively, the Electro returns to its place, in connivance with its complement. A perfect sonic becoming.
