Bonime is a DJ, producer, and live performer, interested in many different genres of music. He likes to think of his mind as a distorted tool that produces glitches whose end result is the creation of music. For his work on Diffuse Reality Records, he presents a six-track package entitled Rand0m Dr3am, a name that may be analogous to the creation of random objects with distorted tools. The title of each of the tracks in this work also seems to us to be random, because of the names and their odd relationship to each other and because some of the vowels are exchanged for numbers.
The sound of D3ad Run emulates those moments when something or someone is chasing you to end your life. And you, amidst the darkness and mental obfuscation, just run to get as far away from that situation as possible. After these moments, the sound revitalizes with a few acid drops and knocks that activate the passive, that is, they turn our fear into defiance in the face of what is coming. The path of death is now from alter to ego and from ego to alter. Who will emerge victorious?
The fight happens but is mediated by the sound design of our versatile artist, who knows how to do it. Between nervous and confident dances, the sound circuits of this song are subtle, expectant, full of wit, and at the same time, delicate and threatening at times. The delta reaches its climax.
