To kick off the year 2024, the Indian platform is launching the seventeenth work from its distinguished catalog on the occasion of its third anniversary. We talk about Observant, who unveils its latest release, the fourth volume of its Various Artists compilation entitled Point of View. A fascinating series dedicated to highlighting visionary talents with a distinct musical perspective.

The spirit of these compilations is rooted in the testimony of Observant‘s firm belief in showcasing emerging talent from their native India, alongside their accomplished counterparts from around the world, whose craftsmanship and potential they ardently champion. Regardless of the stature of the industry, this launch cements Observant‘s dedication to transcending boundaries and delivering a distinctive listening experience, a commitment to capturing a wide range of adornments tailored to both first-timers and seasoned veterans alike.

ARTIFVCT is the electronic music project of Siddharth Sharma, based in New Delhi, India. His contribution to this compilation is called Atlas, a title that refers to the giant in Greco-Latin mythology who shouldered the celestial vault, which is why he was often depicted on the cover of map collections.

Just like Atlas, with imposing musculature and strength capable of sustaining that ideal sphere, without a defined radius, concentric with the terrestrial globe, in which the stars move, the sound of Atlas is very strong, powerful, always in a crescendo, and capable of sustaining varied rhythms and atmospheres, concentric in a very well polished sound. Through thick, continuous beams of sound in the track, over which the rest of the elements unfold, the track is always progressively revitalizing itself. So the sound of Atlas perfectly refers to its visual correlate.
