Dynamic Form presents its new gem, this time led by Buenos Aires-based Argentinian producer and artist Gonzalo MD. It’s titled Magnetic Resonance and is made up of two original tracks – the eponymous track and Transversal Object – and two remixes by MPak and Drop-E. Magnetic resonance is a non-invasive imaging technology that produces detailed three-dimensional anatomical images without the use of harmful radiation. It is based on a sophisticated technology that stimulates and detects the change in the direction of the rotational axis of protons found in the water that makes up living tissues.

With this technology based on magnets and magnetism, it is possible to achieve sharp images that do not damage the body to be mapped. Transversal Object is the second track of the original tracks, and its name alludes to something tha is transversal. But what is this something and what is it transverse to? The something is the magnetism of the sound towards its audience. That is its quality of attraction at a distance, through magnetization by influence. With fast-paced and tightly wound rhythms, hypnotism is assured.

This magnetism is transversal to the whole track. At no time does the attraction cease to be felt. From the beginning to the end. A little less than six minutes of delirium is mediated by this sound technology and ritual magnetism that frames everything under its sound. Of course, this is not possible without the primordial technology that makes it possible, namely the first track, Magnetic Resonance. And what do the remixes enhance or where do the original tracks lead to? That’s something we’ll soon be able to say…
