The label carries the spirit of As You Are, which showcases a spectrum of styles across the techno soundscape. It empowers innovators who are pushing techno into new creative territories. For its new release, PHYC returns to the platform. PHYC is the project of the Portuguese-born producer, currently based in Holland. Influenced by the underground atmosphere of Amsterdam, the unpredictable techno for the mind and body, now he presents itself on AKA SYNAPSE. This time, the master of all-things-hypnotic, presents a double tracker with Geranium and Negus, who ensure that we will lose ourselves in these melodies.

Geraniums are a group of several hundred annual, biennial and perennial plants, which are commonly used in gardening for their attractive flowers and their characteristic scent. Let’s think first about the scent of these flowers and their aesthetic appeal. Then let’s play Geranium and let it ring. We will soon find ourselves hypnotised by this combination, in which sound acts as an amalgam between sound and visual and aromatic perception. It is the symbiosis of hearing, sight and smell.

All our senses are swirled by the sound of PHYC and the visual and perceptive correlates made possible by the title of this song. Hypnotism in the end is secured between multi-coloured colours and well-defined sounds. So we just have to see at what point the listener loses himself.
