Club Furies

One of our favorite platforms presents the next volume of one of its Various Artists series. Subsist Records presents the fourth volume of its Visionworks series. Initiated at the beginning of last year, when the first two volumes were released, this year the second two are here. Coordinated by Mr. Tron, this time it is ten songs from ten different artists from around the world.

The sound is diverse, but always within the horizon of the Subsist style. One of those artists is Nicolò Bernardi, based in New York, USA, who presents Silent Intention. A silent intention can mean many things. Let’s try to find one of the possible meanings in the sound it alludes to. Sharp, thin, and very bright swords are quickly installed as the structure of the sound. Behind it, layers quickly start to interweave amidst deep volumes and apocalyptic atmospheres.

Orthogonal to it all: deep and hypnotic techno. After the climax of the track, the sound speeds up, reaching delirious notes, mediated by the same sound design, agile, intelligent, and sophisticated. This means that these adjectives receive a particular treatment in Nicolò Bernardi‘s sound. And this is just one of the tracks that make up this fourth volume. Once again, both these series and the Valencian platform show exceptional curation and a distinctive sound.
