Club Furies

8 «Eight» is the most experimental series of the Argentinean label Ucker Records. It is about eight Techno-oriented figures, who come together to demonstrate that there are no borders in the infinite universe of electronic music. This is a compilation of various artists, among which I highlight the Mexican producer Fixeer.

He introduces a disturbing atmosphere with his contribution called Lluvia Nostalgica. With a sound as mysterious as strange or unexpected that produces chills. The layers of sound create an eerie enveloping experience that keeps listeners on edge. Arriving from damp, as well as unknown places. Slowly approaching, reluctant but sure. And when we least expect it we are enveloped in the sound of Lluvia Nostalgica.

If we listen carefully to all the tracks on this release, there are elements in common. But in the case of Fixeer‘s track, they reach spectacular notes. Full of ethereal quality, as well as fresh and icy. Dystopian idyll that merges into futures trapped in frozen lakes. Cities that see the rain fall on their monotonous sidewalks. With this track the sound design quality of the Mexican artist, whom we already had on the radar of our favorites, becomes unquestionable.
