Club Furies

Duplicity is a label and podcast series focused on hypnotic, groovy, and forward-thinking percussive techno sounds, based in Edinburgh, UK. With three compilations from various artists, the time has come to continue with the fourth edition. 32 are the tracks; 32 are the artists; a sonic universe with multiple galaxies.

Alessio Landini is an Italian DJ and producer based in Tuscany, whose style is defined by a PlayDifferently configuration of his own design. His sound follows a stripped-down percussive approach, with a focus on 4-deck layering that is accompanied by the use of drum machines and effects to create the perfect balance of hypnotic and high-energy grooves.

For Quartus, Alessio Landini presents Numb. A sound canvas that is magical and enchanting, in the literal sense of both terms. One is left listening to the sound, and only after a few seconds, we are bound to its designs. Well-swirled layers of sound, in strong rhythmic structures.

The other side arrives, and with it metallic, electrified, and latent sounds. The sound reaches silence, maximum tension, and delta. Where does it take us? To the yoke of Numb, whose sound has left us mesmerized, with a unique style, still in the contours of the Duplicity sound.
