Diffuse Reality Records‘ dark and experimental label Periphylla returns to present the work of the mysterious Res Non Verba project, a Latin phrase meaning «things not words». It is one of the projects of Gregorio Vilariño, also known as Galgo, from Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is a collection of seven original tracks under the title Tecno y Deriva.
Epilepsia is the closing track. Epilepsy is a disease characterized mainly by sudden seizures, with abrupt loss of consciousness and convulsions. The rhythm suddenly becomes frenetic, coming from the latent calm, but which has announced it. The darkness covers everything faintly and subtly, while the atmospheres are at the same time warm. Percussions and strings delicately electrify everything.
In that way everything returns to a calm, again latent account; perhaps aware of what epilepsy means. If this is so, both the sound and the concept behind it are a unique artistic genius. In such a way that the sound progressively reaches absolute calm.
