Club Furies

Bazovoe Techno means Basic Techno, from the Russian transcription Б,а,з,о,в,о,о,е, Т,е,х,н,н,о,. It is a logical continuation of the series of festivals of the same name, which have been taking place for years in St. Petersburg, Russia. The main goal of the label is the release of authentic dancefloor techno sessions by local party-goers, along with guest artists who were hosted already or are about to perform.

For their latest release, they present Between Worlds, a compilation of five original tracks from five different artists. It’s a journey through space and time, in which mystical echoes of the past intertwine with the premonition of changes to come. Among these artists is one of our current favorites. Damne is an Dj an procuder from Russia, Wetland label owner and director. He performs with a live DJ set and hybrid. It is the artistic sound work that prostrates melancholic organic textures, ambient melody, industrial rhythms, and modular synthesis dialogues. Qualities saturated with elements of arrangement and attention to each layer of space. It is about the image of the plant as a Russian field of experiments in a primitive cult.    

Damne presents Grape Vine, whose track takes us into its ancestral roots, full of mystery and wisdom, leading us to the origins of time. It is direct techno, simple, without detours. It is at the same time complex and delicate, with nuances and particularities that only Damne has. It is dark, enigmatic, exciting, powerful, fierce and voracious. From the present time to the past time, in dimension bridges that alter, taking us to other parallels.
