Club Furies

Our beloved desert label celebrates five years of existence. We’re talking about Arido Records, who, to commemorate it, are inaugurating a trilogy of compilations entitled Exoplanet, which opens with the first volume. It is a curated journey from the most introspective and atmospheric frontiers of contemporary techno.

Five artists –Agustin V, Andre Luki, Asteroid One, D.S., and E.D.A.L.– trace different sonic orbits around an aesthetic deeply linked to underground techno, with sonic narratives that evoke cinematic landscapes and futuristic pulsations linked to cinema and space. Each track functions as a sonic capsule floating in a system of mental explorations and extraterrestrial desert landscapes.

Club Furies Premiere: Hakkon – Beta [Arido Records]

André Remondini, known as André Luki, has more than 14 years of career in electronic music, starting his passion for DJing as a teenager. With skills, solid techniques and a wide selection of Minimal Techno music, he started performing at renowned parties and clubs when he was still a minor. His international career took off in 2016 with a tour of Mexico, where his passion for Hypnotic Techno flourished. His current sound is Hypnotic, Mental and Grey Sound.

André Luki presents Incorrect Conductor, a rather suggestive title, as it seems to tell us something that is not working well. If in ideal conditions, driving will be perfect, what happens when it isn’t? Rough starts, orbiting sandy earth crusts, amidst red skies. Constant sound, amidst strangely threatening atmospheres, which are unsettling but warm.

Exoplanet Vol. 1 shows us techno sound conceived as a narrative territory, as a space of expansion, as the celebration of an expression that continues to expand the limits of sound.
