Club Furies

TOVI is an Argentine DJ and producer, co-founder of the Corr production company, along with other DJs from the local Buenos Aires scene. His sound on the dancefloor is characterised by a constant and marked groove, progressive, with hypnotic and dark tints, which transmits an energy that generates an audience that won’t stop dancing.

For one of his most recent releases he is presented on our beloved label Logia Records, which has not stopped progressing in its sound, curation and concept, both aesthetically and sonically. Groove Invoker is an EP of three original tracks, which also features two other great exponents of the Argentinian scene: PAXU, a member of the friendly label Slow Cycle, and Cosmosolar, who has long since risen on the international scene, part of the team of Modula, another great Argentinian label.

If we look at the names of the original tracks – Ritual Starter and Dancing Shadows – we have clear semantics that point to the title of the EP. We, for now, are sticking to the beginning: Ritual Starter. Think of the steps or elements that make up a ritual that you value highly. Among them, we value dance and movement, both physical and sonorous. What elements does it consist of and what makes it a ritual? Sound is one of those elements.

Electricity, a lot of groove, an imposing and very self-confident attitude. Those are the elements of the sound, which will later be a fundamental element of those that make up the ritual of dance and movement. What’s next? Probably the shadows of the dancers?
